💻 Ungating Via A2A

How to ungate with A2A

What is Amazon-to-Amazon (A2A)?

Amazon-to-Amazon, or A2A, is a form of online arbitrage where you buy products directly from Amazon and then resell them back on Amazon at a higher price.

For example, you might find an item on Amazon Australia that’s on sale or heavily discounted. By purchasing it and then relisting it at the normal market price, you can earn a profit once it sells.

A2A works because:

  • Sales and discounts create temporary price drops.

  • Stock shortages in certain regions can push prices up.

  • Bundles or multipacks can be created to add extra value.

While this can be a simple entry point for new sellers, it’s important to check:

  • Profit margins after Amazon fees.

  • The item’s sales rank (to make sure it’s actually selling).

  • Brand or IP restrictions that could prevent you from reselling.

In short, A2A is about spotting price differences on Amazon itself and turning those into opportunities for profit.

How to Create an Amazon Business Account (Australia)

  1. Create a fresh email first

    • Before you start, set up a completely new email address just for your Amazon Business account.

    • ⚠️ Important: This email must not be linked to your Amazon Seller Central account, your personal Amazon account, or any past accounts. Keeping it fresh avoids complications with Amazon.

  2. Go to the sign-up page

  3. Sign up with your fresh email

    • Use the new business email you just created.

    • This will ensure Amazon sees it as a separate business buying account, not connected to your selling or personal accounts.

    ⚠️ Brand new fresh email⚠️

  4. Enter your business details

    • Business name (must match your ABN records).

    • ABN (Australian Business Number).

    • Business phone number.

    • Business address.

    • Keep all of this the same as your Seller Central account (ABN, business name, address, etc.) only the email needs to be new.

  5. Add payment details

    • Add a card or business payment method for purchases. (Preferable, one linked to your business)

  6. Verify your account

    • Amazon may take 1–2 days to verify your ABN and business info.

    • Once approved, you’ll have access to business-only pricing, GST invoices, and other business benefits.
