๐ Resubmitting Correctly
Most ungate attempts that fail can be approved on the second or third submission. A decline does not mean your invoice is wrong. It usually means Amazon wants clearer evidence or a cleaner upload. Correct resubmission is how new sellers get approved quickly.
Why Amazon Declines Valid Invoices
A decline often happens because:
The reviewer wants clearer photos.
The file name looks messy or unclear.
The invoice upload was low quality or hard to read.
The account is new and Amazon wants stronger confirmation.
The supplier format looks too retail focused.
These issues are fixable. A clean resubmission usually resolves them.
The Correct Resubmission Method
Follow these steps when you resend your documents:
1. Rename your invoice file
Change the file name before uploading again.
Example: Invoice Oral B AmazonStoreName 10 UNITS .PDF
A new file name makes Amazon treat the upload as a fresh submission.
2. Re export or re download the invoice
Download your invoice again from the supplier account or order confirmation page. This ensures the file is clean and readable.
3. Take new photos
Take clear new versions of the 3 main photos:
The products
The packaging
The printed invoice
Make sure all details are readable and the items are well lit.
4. Upload the full set again
Upload the invoice and all supporting photos. Even if Amazon did not ask for them directly, extra clarity always helps.
5. Write a short clear message
Example:
I have reuploaded my invoice and new supporting photos. All items were purchased directly from a genuine supplier. Please review again and let me know if any more information is needed.
When You Should Resubmit
Resubmit when:
The invoice is valid but Amazon wants clearer evidence.
The first upload was low quality.
The reviewer made an error.
Amazon could not read part of the invoice.
The supplier is a genuine and acceptable source.
In most situations, resubmitting is the correct action.
How Many Times You Should Resubmit
Most successful ungates pass on the 5th-10th submission but just keep trying!
Amazon does not punish resubmissions. If your invoice is correct, persistence and clearer evidence usually lead to approval.
Why Resubmitting Works
Resubmitting works because it:
Gives Amazon clearer evidence.
Fixes upload or visibility issues.
Sends your request to a different reviewer.
Confirms that the purchase is genuine.
A decline is not a final decision. It is usually a request for better clarity.
Invoices must be from a wholesaler, online distributor, or Amazon itself (retailer receipts like BigW/Target wonโt be accepted).
Photos of the product and order confirmation may also be requested.
Always save your invoice clearly โ e.g.
BRAND NAME Invoice โ 21 Sept 2025.
๐ก Tip: If you buy A2A (Amazon-to-Amazon) leads, Amazon invoices can sometimes be used for ungating โ but only if all 10+ units appear on the same invoice. If Amazon splits your shipment across invoices, this can cause problems.
