📦When to Reorder Stock
Reordering stock is rare. Most ungate declines can be fixed by resubmitting your invoice with clearer evidence. You should only reorder when the invoice itself cannot be used again or when the information on the invoice cannot be corrected. This page explains the situations where a reorder is genuinely required.
When Reordering Is Necessary
You should reorder new stock only if one of the following applies:
1. Your details do not match your Amazon account
If the invoice shows the wrong name or address, and the supplier cannot update or regenerate the invoice, then a new order is required. Amazon will not approve an invoice that does not match your account information.
2. The supplier cannot regenerate or edit the invoice
Some suppliers do not allow invoice edits. If there is missing information, incorrect information, or formatting that Amazon rejects and the supplier cannot fix it, you must reorder.
3. The invoice is missing required information
If the invoice does not show:
Your name
Your address
Supplier name
Supplier address
Product details
Quantities
Invoice date
and the supplier cannot add these details, then the invoice cannot be used.
4. You bought fewer units than required
If the ungate requires:
10 units or
100 units for certain categories
and your invoice shows fewer than the required number, then a new purchase is needed.
5. The brand on your invoice is not the brand you want to unlock
If you ordered the wrong brand by mistake, Amazon will decline the ungate. In this situation the only solution is to reorder using the correct brand.
When You Do Not Need To Reorder
You do not need new stock when:
The invoice is correct but Amazon wants clearer photos.
The file upload was low quality.
The reviewer made an error.
Amazon could not read parts of the invoice.
The supplier is a valid and trusted source.
In these cases, resubmitting correctly is all you need.
Keep Reordering As A Last Resort
Reordering is only required when the invoice itself is unusable. If the information on the invoice is correct and the supplier is acceptable, you should resubmit instead of buying again.
Understanding when a reorder is actually necessary prevents unnecessary spending and keeps the ungating process simple.
